dietetics practice "dietetics practice" means the interpretation and application of scientific principles of nutrition in the oral, enteral tube and parenteral feeding of individuals or groups in health and disease with the aim of identifying and improving the nutritional status, complementing the medical component of the treatment prescribed by a registered medical practitioner or a registered dental practitioner and providing diet therapy as a means of treatment in itself;
